My apple tv subscription is free until end of December 2021. Not sure if my credit card used still active. How do I renew? What is the cost

If you have an active and valid payment method (valid for subscriptions) for your Apple ID account, then Apple TV+ will continue as a paid subscription after the end of the trial period. That is automatic.

The price depends of your country or region. This is also detailed in the confirmation email that you received at the start of this subscription service.
