ipad is stuck in guided access and wont let use code to unlock it wont give me the keypad

so i put my ipad on guided access while my 2 yr old was on it at the doctors and now it won't give me the full keypad or number pad to unlock and take it out of guided access how can i bypass it its the passcode and get it out its not showing on my account on icloud but its connected to same icloud my phone is connected to
