How can I turn off Focus on my iPhone?

I want to use the waze but still waiting for ios 13.0 this is my problem

I do not have the silence on and my ringer is up. So how is it showing I’m still silent?

Where are you seeing its "silent" then?

There is a bug in the focus feature. Some of your contacts will be put on focus even though you have it turned offed. There is not much you can do until Apple patches it.

You are by FAR in the minority. They needed to either give us the option to turn it off, MUCH more training to gain acceptance.

This is a bug, not a feature.

Focus has been a nightmare for me too. Please report a way to actually turn off focus. I have tried the repeated suggestions over and over with no success!

My apologies. I was responding to your questioning of where I got my data, not your suggestion of a course of action. No problem at all with that.

So to turn it off you say “go to settings, focus” but when I am there- there is no clear way to turn off. This is an over complicated way to turn on and off notifications. I never wanted this!

I would be happy if they would remove the “share across devices” in Focus.

Neither Focus nor its predecessor, Do Not Disturb, disable alarms. If your alarm failed to go off, there was another reaosn.

I turned focus off. I even had the IT guy to turn of off and it would be back on the next day. Please please please I want it off my phone. I’m missing calls. It has caused me so many problems. Idk what to do. I need this fixed. It’s affecting my job. My personal phone calls. My friends think I am purposely not answering my phone😩😩

Meanwhile, you should check that you don't have the mute switch enabled (side of the phone just above the volume buttons). Also, check Settings>Phone>Silence Unknown Callers.
