Webcam quality

I just bought a MacBook Pro 2020 two days ago and the webcam quality is very low. I was very surprised that such an expensive laptop has such a poor webcam quality. Is there anything I can do about this? Does Apple acknowledge the problem?

Camera issue in MacOS Monterey I have been using the Logitech c270 webcam (720p/30fps) for the last 2 years for online lectures and stuff. However post updating to MacOS Monterey (12.1 as of now) since its release, I have been facing issues with my webcam. I have started seeing distortion in the video quality over the past few months such as increase in contrast, overexposure etc while using MS Teams, FaceTime etc., which prompts me to modify the quality manually using the Logitech Camera Settings App, however this changes made don't sustain for long as this issue arises every time I reboot my laptop. Logitech Streamcam poor quality on Monterey I have a Macbook Air (2017) with Monterey OS 12.3.1 and the Streamcam has terrible quality and is most definitely not HD. I have it plugged into the USB port via a Type-C adaptor, which will limit the 60fps option but this is not a frame rate issue. This is worse that the standard laptop webcam which is saying something!! It is the same in the following apps: Zoom Google Meet Facetime OBS Loom This is so frustrating as I have an online business whereby I run coaching and record training from a webcam!! Any ideas how to fix this?

You can return and refund if you purchased your MacBook Pro at retail or online Apple Store or Apple Authorized Reseller.
