Camera issue in MacOS Monterey

I have been using the Logitech c270 webcam (720p/30fps) for the last 2 years for online lectures and stuff. However post updating to MacOS Monterey (12.1 as of now) since its release, I have been facing issues with my webcam. I have started seeing distortion in the video quality over the past few months such as increase in contrast, overexposure etc while using MS Teams, FaceTime etc., which prompts me to modify the quality manually using the Logitech Camera Settings App, however this changes made don't sustain for long as this issue arises every time I reboot my laptop. Please help.

Try booting to Safe Mode. That boot up takes minutes and clears caches and other things that may resolve your problem.

A lot of times just boot to Safe Mode followed by normal boot resolves problems.
