Here’s some general information→If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch is lost or stolen - Apple Support

If you enabled Find My before the phone was stolen log in to https://icloud.com/find and put the phone in Lost mode.

You should also contact your carrier and ask them to blacklist the IMEI, but note that the blacklist is not honored by all carriers in the world, and professional thieves and fences know where to send the phone to circumvent the blacklist.

Also, beware of a common phishing scam: You may get a text or email from “Apple” or “Apple Security” saying your phone has been found and to click on a link to see its location. This is NEVER from Apple; it is from the thief or fence to steal your Apple ID and identity. Delete any such message without responding to it.
