Monterey won't reinstall after mismatch volume hash

I have received the mismatch message several times now. I tried twice to reinstall Monterey and the process ends after about 2/3 of progress with message that there was a problem. What now?

Boot to recovery and repair/First Aid the startup disk using the Disk Utility that is in Recovery. Make sure you repair each entery of the startup disk

I'm having that same popup, followed this thread, and called AppleSupport. Got nowhere as she stated being it isn't popping up again, it seems fine. Went through all my speaker settings and gave up. I showed her this thread and she asked if I was experiencing any additional problems. I stated no but slhcrnp stated he/she was and I was concerned. Got nowhere, ended up hanging up.
