Monterey on MacBook Pro 2020 Intel

I faced with issues last time I tried to download Monterey on my MacBook pro 2020 Intel. It was in November 2021.

My laptop hadn't worked at all so I sent it to apple repair. They said was something wrong with a chip or else.

Since then I haven't even tried to update the software.

Is it safe to do that now?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.6

The download and installation of macOS Monterey has no relation to the failure of hardware. You have stated that the hardware issue has been resolved by Apple and therefore I recommend that you update the macOS to Monterey.
