Monterey on MacBook Pro 2020 Intel

I faced with issues last time I tried to download Monterey on my MacBook pro 2020 Intel. It was in November 2021.

My laptop hadn't worked at all so I sent it to apple repair. They said was something wrong with a chip or else.

Since then I haven't even tried to update the software.

Is it safe to do that now?

After upgrading to Ventura successfully, my version still shows Monterey 12.6.2 I went through the entire upgrade process to Ventura. There were no error messages and it eventually rebooted and is working. But the version number still read Monterey. Is this just a bug in the Mac About page or did I not upgrade? Btw, I only upgraded the OS and not Safari. Does Apple force you to upgrade Safari too?

How to downgrade to MacOS Monterey? Weirdly, this felt to me a most buggy MacOS I have ever used in my life. I have battery start dropping very quickly everyday, and battery health was plummeted as well. Many apps have weird bugs and the Mac have performance that was at least 10% slower than the last OS. Is Apple going to fix this quickly because I want to downgrade to Monterey but just have no idea how to get started on doing so, and so I hope Apple can fix MacOS Ventura quickly. 3/10 for MacOS Ventura for now. pkcs11 problems on macOs Ventura Hello! I am from Costa Rica and when I want to install the digital signature through the /Library/Application Support/Athena/libASEP11.dylib library, my free version of Adobe Acrobat that I use indicates an error when installing it. It says that the module "PKCS#11 cannot be loaded". I have a MacBook Pro M1 and am already a macOS Ventura user. My digital signature device is recent so I don't think that's the problem Has anyone managed to solve this? Thks! ----- ¡Hola! The download and installation of macOS Monterey has no relation to the failure of hardware. You have stated that the hardware issue has been resolved by Apple and therefore I recommend that you update the macOS to Monterey.

Try to check your MacBook Pro with Apple Diagnostics if it reports something hardware related error as a second opinion.
