Password change not allowing me to update my apps

I am extrememly frusterated with APPLE! I have been trying to update my phone and apps now for 3 weeks!!! Everytime I get an error that my password is wrong. Its not. I have changed it several times and now Im locked out???????????????????????????? why is it so hard now to access my apple account on my phone. apple you have made it impossible for me to update my iphone now! $800 phone and useless!!! Super flustered and I WOULD LOVE TO BE ABLE TO USE THE PHONE I PAY FOR

If you have changed your password, have you followed the steps in this article? Make sure you turn of Find My Phone before signing out of the old ID. Once signed out and Find My Phone is off, then sign in with the new ID, then turn Find My Phone back on.
