I have a problem with extremely slow photo upload to iCloud Photos. I take a photo and within seconds it goes to my Photo Stream. But from there it takes several days to show up in iCloud and my other devices such as my iMac or on iCloud.com. It shows up eventually, so everything that needs to be on is on. It used to show up on my iMac Photos app within 1-2 minutes and now it's a week. Why does it take so long?

Thanks, but no. It's a software issue. It's actually an issue of the photos going to Photo Stream. I can take a picture and within a few seconds it's in the Photo Stream on my phone. 30 seconds later I can take another pic and it doesn't go to the Photo Stream. In fact it may never show up at all. Wait a few minutes, take another pic and it might go to the Photo Stream. Or it might not. Nothing has changed between pics either going or not going to the Photo Stream.
Yes, I've looked at that link. It's entirely unhelpful. Of course I have Photo Stream on. Of course I have wifi. And the article is incorrect in stating that nothing loads to Photo Stream until the camera is closed. That is absolutely not true.
The fact is my phone either does or doesn't upload pics to Photo Stream just depending on what it feels like doing. All variables are exactly the same and one minute it works, then next it does not.
I literally just answered all of those questions except the 20% battery, and my phone is rarely if ever below 50% so that is not a factor. From what I said above: "All variables are exactly the same and one minute it works, then next it does not." It is not a settings issue!
