New upgrade 15.1

The upgrade has stuffed up my iPad use. Apps keep hanging. Anyone else having the same issue? Why is this happening. Why roll out an upgrade without making sure it works.

Whilst a few reports of issues are seen, such as yours, widespread difficulties are not being seen in these Support Communities.

Having updated to iPadOS 15.1, you may find that a forced-restart of your iPad may be beneficial - as doing so will often resolve an isolated software issue:

  • On an iPad with a Home button: Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
  • On other iPad models: Press and quickly release the volume up button, press and quickly release the volume down button, then press and hold the top button. When the Apple logo appears, release the button.
