Transferring data from my android to an iPhone 13

I just received a new iPhone 13, and I am transitioning from an android. I have followed all the instructions as outlined by Apple, and as outlined in other recommendations online. The android phone seems to be stuck in preparation mode for transfer. It has been in the state for the past five hours. This phone that I’m using is a work phone, I am trying to transfer my personal phone, which is an android, to a new personal phone, which is a iPhone 13

I've had issues like this before. Try restarting both phones, then try the transfer again.

I have already followed the instructions very closely. about eight or 10 times. This morning I woke up to a message that said 38 hours remaining in data transfer. However I noticed that my android no longer had Wi-Fi connection. I checked again after another hour and the 38 hour time frame did not move. So I restarted the whole thing hoping the Wi-Fi within work. This is a big mess. Thankfully I have my work phone as a back up

I have plenty of capacity on my new device for the photos and other items that are on my old android device. That’s not the problem
