sh: /usr/bin/mandoc: Bad CPU type in executable

Whenever I use the command man in the terminal on my new M1 MacBook Pro 16 inch, I get the following error:

sh: /usr/bin/mandoc: Bad CPU type in executable

As I tried to determine the file type, I realized that it is a binary compiled for x86_64 architecture.

/usr/bin/mandoc: Mach-O 64-bit executable x86_64

Do I need to install Rosetta to fix this issue or is there another way?

Thanks.

MacBook Pro (2020 and later)
