Can I activate the Titanium card via Ipod

I'm new to Apple products and we signed up for the Apple card, and we ordered a few products like a new ipod touch for our daughter and iPad mini. Our iPad mini won't arrive till later next year but was wanting to get our card activated and was wondering if this was an option to activate via an Ipod. Thank you in advance!
