Hi,
I recently purchased a new MacBook Pro but when it comes to airdrop pictures from my iPhone, despite the iPhone is able to see the Mac I do not get any acceptance message from the Mac and the iPhone stays on waiting. I have been able to airdrop a note from iPhone to Mac but nothing more.
The iPhone has the last version of iOS 14 installed while the Mac is up to date with macOS 12.0.1

Are both devices on the same Wifi network? Do both devices have WiFi and bluetooth enabled? If both devices are"trusted." You may just hear a really faint beep and the files will download to your downloads/files folder without much fancy stuff...
