Apple Stainless Steel Milanese watch strap

The magnet of my stainless steel watch strap has lost of a lot of its magnetic strength, hence the strap gets loose easily. Is there a way to demagnetise, or replace, it?

Milanese’s watch band Just picked up my new series 6 watch yesterday. The Milanese loop strap band is not holding the watch securely. Love the watch - but ……maybe the magnet is not strong enough? Is anyone else having this problem?

It is not, to my knowledge not replaceable as it's soldered to the stainless mesh.
