Customized MacBook Pro

When Will the warranty status of Customized MacBook Pro M1 (16/1TB) start? I bought a customized MacBook Pro M1 (16/1TB) from Malaysia Apple online store but from the purchase date its warranty started. I purchased it 2nd September 2021, and activated 3rd October 2021 but its warranty started on 2nd September i.e since its purchase date. why? Please help me to understand answering it.

Warranty starts on the first day of purchase from Apple or an authorized dealer.
