Month passed Macbook Pro MX1 still shows processing.

I'm new to forums but curious if anyone has run into this. I ordered the new mac back in Oct. 25th which was a Monday and I ordered in the morning. Arrival says it's scheduled for Dec.9-16. These things come from China so I'm guessing what 2 weeks to ship Apple would have had to ship Nov. 29th in order to make a shipping date of Dec. 9-16th no? or am I missing something?

I'm honestly curious. Just seems to be taking a long time. Anyone else having same issue?

Yes. The expected delivery window is not here yet. It takes a day or two to ship. Your order will change from "processing" once the product is sent to and received by shipping.

My M1 Max was ordered on the same date. I'm in the same boat. But I've been using Macs for well over 30 years, I've only ever owned a couple of Windows machines, and the only other computers I've ever had were an Amiga 500, ZX Spectrum and C64. All of which are in the loft at my parents along with an Apple ][ and a LaserWriter (remember when Apple did printers?). The first Mac I ever had was a Mac+ I salvaged from my father's office when they had a brain-fart and switched to HPs running WFW 3.1 (yes I'm that old...). It went about as well as you'd expect - the expected increase in workflow and productivity of course didn't happen.

Interesting didn't know that. I've seen where a shipping label gets created and it'll sit for a few days at the same location. So Apple must not update/charge you until the product get's picked up by shipping. And thanks for replaying.

update:

Sorry I'm so new to forums.

I wanted to select both @Sonicray @BobTheFisherman as "solving" the issue both you guys gave good info but as soon as I clicked the solved button both cleared out. I at least wanted to note that both answered the question.

lol I hear you on the "refused to support Windows" course those Windows issues has kept me employed. I do think it's pretty comical that i can kick on a gotoassist session from MacOS to fix/repair Windows Issues and much of windows problems are "built-in features" that don't work. One pet peeve of mine is why Microsoft puts a little sentence "button" below windows updates that reads "To view optional updates" where you see a list of non-optional driver updates that fixes 80% of your issues. Other 20% is from using windows. My family and I switched to Apple years ago and never looked back. But I digress.

It's good to hear and comforting to know that I'm not the only one.
