Credit card charge notifications no longer showing up on MacBook Pro

I have for a long time been getting messages from my bank when charges are made on my credit card - the messages have simultaneously appeared on my iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad and MacBook Pro. However, a few days ago - these messages stopped showing up on my MacBook Pro in the messages app - but have continued to show up on all of the other devices. I can still see a long message history of prior activity in my messages on the MacBook from the bank - but not the most recent ones that came in over the last couple of days. This started after I attempted to make an online purchase that was declined with my MacBook Pro - this was the vendor's issue, and I just waited until the next day to complete the purchase - Any idea of how to get the MacBook to show new charge messages once again?
