iPhone won’t lock when music is playing

Sometimes my iPhone won’t lock/turn off the screen when music is playing. I play my music on Spotify and when I get a notification when music is playing it just won’t turn off afterwards, not until I turn it off manually. Does someone know what’s the problem?

If I let the screen shut off by itself audio stops. I tried restarting it and force quitting the app. This is happening with all apps!
