Hidden Email never linked to my account

I created an account on a site using Apple sign in, and chose to hide my email. I purchased tickets on that site, and never received a confirmation (and therefore the tickets). When I logged in to the site it shows the purchase though.

I went to iCloud hide my email settings and that site is not shown as using a “hide my email” feature. I went to passwords and security to look at apps using my Apple ID, and it isn’t there either. (It’s StubHub, so a reputable site). I was able to see the email Apple assigned to StubHub in my StubHub account, and I sent a test email to it to see if it would be forwarded to me, and it never was.

So now my question is - what happens to emails sent to that address? Is there a way I can access them?

Thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities! From our understanding, when using Hide my email, email messages are not being forwarded, do we have that right? If so, you can check that email forward is turned on for that email. You can manage that by going to Settings > Your Name > iCloud > Hide my Email, select the email and be sure that "Forward to" is turned on.
