CDs, DVDs and iOS Devices option doesn't appear in finder preferences

Hello,

I can't get my iPhone Pro Max to show up on my iMac Pro to load audiobooks from Books app. The CDs, DVDs and iOS Devices option doesn't appear in finder preferences so I can't make that appear. I'm on Monterey OS. Help! Thanks in advance.

Cannot see my audiobooks on both computers When I sign into iTunes on one computer, I can see all the audiobooks I have downloaded from my local library. But when I sign into iTunes on a different computer, I do not see the downloaded audiobooks which I have backed up to the Apple cloud. And, when I use my iPad, I cannot see these books. The only two places I can see the audiobooks is the iPod and in iTunes on one of the computers. I have tried filesharing, but the book app does not show up on my list. The book app does show up on the iPad, but not the audiobooks from the library. I back up the iPod to the Apple cloud also. audiobooks not loading correctly to iPhone My Harry Potter books are in order on my Mac Book. When I download to my iPhone they are no longer in order. I can search for the book and it will come up but the disc order is all jumbled up. Originally I burned the books from cd onto my computer. How do I get them in order on my iPhone? It's very frustrating that they are in order by title of the book on my mac book and my iPad but NOT on my iPhone.

Audiobooks Podcasts and Music on an external hard drive Is there a way to point the Music app, the Podcast app and/or the Audiobooks app to an external hard drive? I have way too many audiobooks to load onto and already crowded local hard drive.

Finder -> Preferences -> tab Sidebar -> under Location -> check the box -> CDs, DVDs and iOS Devices.

That option didn't appear in the preferences at the time I wrote this but now? There it is. Thanks :)
