USB connections

I just upgraded from os X Yosemite to high sierra on my iMac .

now my USB wont connect

iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.13

Try resetting the System Management Controller (SMC):

Shut down your Mac, then unplug the power cable.
Wait 15 seconds, then plug the power cable back in.
Wait 5 seconds, then press the power button to turn on your Mac.
