Holiday returns policy for Certified Refurbished Mac pros.

I'm wondering if the extended holiday returns policy (until January 8) also applies to hardware bought from the Certified Refurbished section on Apple.com. I can't find anything about the refurbished items in the holiday return policy FAQ but it says the policy applies to all items purchased from Apple.com. However, the return terms section in the refurbished store seems to differ and say 14 days as the term for acceptable returns. So, it's thoroughly confusing. Calling Apple support line didn't help. The person I talked to didn't know. How can I get an official answer for this?
