Restore of iPhone backup from MacBook now working?

Hello all.

I am attempting to restore an iPhone backup from my MacBook to my iPhone. However after I put in my password for the encrypted backup; the status bar erases the iPhone data and it gets stuck on the "Restoring iPhone 11 from backup" screen. The status bar on this screen is stuck and remains full (like its complete) and my iPhone is on the "hello" screen, as if it was only erased to factory settings.

Do I just leave it on this until I get the apple logo on my phone or until the screen on my MacBook changes? Its been like this for about an hour now.

Try booting to Safe Mode and doing the restore. That boot up takes minutes.
