What do you do if you accidentally erased Macintosh HD?

In preparing a Macbook Air for trade in, as part of the last step, in the disk utility, I accidentally erased "Macintosh HD". Does it need to be restored before trade-in?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 10.14

If you're following the steps in this support article: What to do before you sell, give away or trade in your Mac – Apple Support (UK), then you've done what you should do. Now you just need to reinstall macOS.
