The Keynote will be available to stream on apple.com, the Apple Developer app, the Apple TV app, and the Apple YouTube channel. On-demand playback will be available after the conclusion of the stream.

With iOS 10 (as your tag says), you can only use 1st generation AirPods. Which are Model numbers: A1523, and A1722. The model number is on the first line of the text printed on the underside of each AirPod. For more info, see:
