The search bar of my Macbook pro does not appear to work anymore
hi, I am not able to type in my search bar of my Macbook Pro anything in order to look up a software
It seems to be disabled

First do a hard reboot. If by search bar you mean Spotlight iin the Menu bar, top right magnifying glass symbol), then your drive index probably is corrupted and needs to be rebuilt. Google "rebuilding Apple Spotlight".
