Hi all.

last weekend I bought an Apple Watch 3 on the understanding of it being a 6.£180 I paid and to my anger,when I received it discovered it was a 3.I messaged previous owner to remove his iCloud from it and didn’t.Was wondering if it can be sorted out as no help from last owner

Bought Apple Watch SE on EBay Hi I bought an Apple Watch SE on eBay, I have proof of purchase and it is still attached to the last owners iCloud. I have been in contact with her and she says she removed it but when I try to activate the watch it says it’s still attached. Is there anyway around this or is my best bet to return it?

Apple Watch I purchased an Apple Watch online, I have proof of purchase but unfortunately the very reliable website I bought it off failed to mention that the apple watch was still connected to the original owners find my iPhone. Unfortunately I cannot contact the seller and was wondering if there was anyway to get around this. Every article I have been on have mentioned that there is no way unless the original owner deletes it from their account. I read that apple is able to remove the lock if proof of purchase is provided. If someone could please get back to me immediately this would be amazing, thank you.

The person that you bought this watch from needs to follow all the steps in this link;

Remove the Activation Lock so that the buyer can use it.

If they can't or won't then get your money back or recycle the watch and put it down to experience.

Sorry,looks like you've been had.,the price would have set my alarm bell ringing.
