Apple Watch

I purchased an Apple Watch online, I have proof of purchase but unfortunately the very reliable website I bought it off failed to mention that the apple watch was still connected to the original owners find my iPhone. Unfortunately I cannot contact the seller and was wondering if there was anyway to get around this. Every article I have been on have mentioned that there is no way unless the original owner deletes it from their account. I read that apple is able to remove the lock if proof of purchase is provided. If someone could please get back to me immediately this would be amazing, thank you.

Activation Lock is designed to prevent anyone else from using an Apple Watch if it's ever lost or stolen.

About Activation Lock on your Apple Watch - Apple Support

Activation Lock is an anti-theft feature that cannot be bypassed. Only the previous owner can remove the lock by using their Apple ID & password. Apple will not help you find the previous owner. If the previous owner cannot or will not remove the lock, then the watch is useless to you or anyone else. Try to get a refund (through eBay) or dispose of the watch properly.
