Vertical line appears after splitting view.

I bought Imac M1 yesterday and started to splitting view and worked on that for an hour. When I closed all windows, I realised that there was a single vertical line right at the place where the view had been divided. I've worked that way on my Macbook and it has never happened before. Don't know what happened to my new Imac...

Split screen view not working I have a MacBook Air (Early 2014) and recently updated to macOS Big Sur version 11.6.5. Prior to the update, I was able to use the split screen view, but it has stopped working since I updated the software a couple of days ago. I have restarted my MacBook Air since the update, and ensured the "Displays have separate Spaces" box is still ticked in the Mission Control section of Systems Preferences. Is there anything that can be done to restore the split screen view on my MacBook?

Split view on Mac I have a MacBook Pro with macOS Catalina and split view won't work. The option for tile to the left or right comes up, but nothing happens when pressed. I tried it in multiple apps one of which being safari. It worked before it just stoped all the sudden. What's wrong? Thanks!

Restart in Safe Mode per the directions in Use Safe Mode to isolate issues with your Mac and then restart normally and retest.

If is just a faint line, then it is most likely image persistence and it will fade over time.

it's a faint line and yeah, it actually disappeared after 10 minutes.
