I've plugged it into my mac nothing is working

iPhone 6s. During OS15 update, was forced to use passcode. Dont have one, tried two old ones and one new one. None were accepted and locked out including access to all services. Tried to follow instructions for Updates and Passcodes including Backup and Recovery. All efforts have ended in dead ends. HELP! anyone?
