If I connect a USB C Hub to my MacBook Pro (M1 chip) with an HP external CD drive to play Angry Birds (through CD) would that work?

Where did you get this Angry Birds CD from exactly?
... and only if the external drive is properly powered. Does it have its own external power supply?
Many hubs do not supply enough USB power for a power-hungry DVD reader.

Which one? Make sure it is actually for Mac. I don't see any Angry Birds game for Mac on Amazon. All say they are for Windows PCs or even Nintendo Wii.
