Unlock iphone

I have an iPhone 11 I’m wanting to switch to, but it is locked and won’t accept my SIM card. What can I do to unlock it?

Contact the carrier that has the lock on the phone and see if they provide unlocking services and if you qualify. How to unlock your iPhone for use with a different carrier - Apple Support
