Problem while charging

Have you tried a different cable? Lightning cables are “active” devices; there are 4 microcircuits in the phone end of the cable, and they can fail.

That usually indicates a bad cable. Are you using good quality cables, either Apple or certified as Made for iPhone, from name brands such as Anker, Griffin, Mophie, etc?

Are you experiencing this behavior with multiple cables, power adapters and wall outlets?

Does that also happen when using other Lightning accessories, such as a pair of EarPods?

Also, have you had the chance to restart your iPhone since you noticed this behavior? Restart your iPhone

I have the same thing.

Got my iPhone 13 Pro today, set it all up and was happy with it. Noticed there was 15.2 update so plugged it in to charge while it installed.

Tried to use it after (still plugged in a charging) and screen wouldn’t work properly, couldn’t open / close apps as having to keep tapping until it did it, couldn’t type properly, pinch zoom not working right, couldn’t swipe up to unlock phone etc.

I unplugged it and it seems fine again, but my old XS works fine when plugged in to that charger so not sure why the new phone doesn’t (Apple brand cable and charger plug that works fine on the XS with no screen issues or lag).
