It says, “iMessage is signed out. An error occurred and your account (insert phone number here) is signed out of iMessage. You may miss messages as a result. Please go to settings to address the issue.” It gives links to Ignore or go to Settings. If I click ignore and type a message, I get the red “not delivered” error message after I click send. If I click Settings, I see the iMessage toggle switch needs to be turned on. I turn it on, but hours later, it’s been automatically turned off, so I have to repeat the process. Turning phone off/on doesn’t remedy the situation because it happens again hours later or maybe a couple of days later.
The other issue I’ve noticed involves the mail app. When I used to click on it (before updating to iOS 15), it would have recent messages showing. Now it may have last week’s messages on top or even messages from 2020 on top. I have to click “Back” and tap on messages again to get most recent to load. That just started happening after I updated to iOS 15. I’m now on 15.2 with most recent updates, but there are still issues with Mail and iMessage. Those updates didn’t help at all.
