How do I remove a device from Find me

Hi,

To remove a device activation lock and the ability to locate the product, see below:

• Find My app > Devices > click on the affected device > tap Remove from Account.
• icloud.com/find > sign in with your Apple ID tied to the device > Devices pane > click on the affected product > Remove from Account.

*Note: if you do not see Remove from Account, and only see Erase this Device, tap Erase this Device > it will ask you to confirm a message or phone number, leave this area blank and press next > confirm you want to erase > you should now have the option of “Remove from Account”
