Every 15 minutes my Watch vibrates. How do I turn this off? Not good when I'd like to wear the watch continuously.

Please let me know what I need to do to turn off the repeating vibrations. I have looked for settings on my phone and iPad.

Hi VictoriaPMA,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We understand that you're having an issue with your Apple Watch. We'd like to help.

Are you seeing any notifications on your iPhone when you feel that vibration on your Apple Watch? Do you notice if this happens when you're in a specific location or connected to a specific network?

Which iOS are you running on your iPhone? Which watchOS on your watch? You can find both by going to Settings > General > About. Is it possible that there is an update available? If so, updating your device can help:

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Update your Apple Watch

Let us know if updating helps with this issue.

Cheers!

VictoriaPMA,

Let's keep going to get this issue resolved.

Since you're already updated, and this is still happening, it could be helpful to unpair your Apple Watch and then set it up again:

Unpair and erase your Apple Watch

If it continues to randomly vibrate after that, Contact Apple Support for additional troubleshooting steps.

Hope that helps.

Take care!

Hi there ~

I have iOS 15.1 on my phone and watch OS 8.1.1.

I am still having random dzt's on my watch. I have turned off almost every notification I can on the phone for the watch and on the watch itself.

It is still doing little dzt's (my little description of the short vibration) on the 15, 30, 45, and hour. It is not doing this as often since I have turned off notifications - but it is still happening!

I had a watch 4, which I loved, that never did this.

As mentioned - it makes me a little crazy, having a notification for no reason.

This is keeping me from wearing it as I did with the watch 4, as an alarm clock and timer.

HELP!

Thank you ~

Unpair and re-pair and setup as new.

This returns the watch to the way it was when you bought it brand new.

You can Unpair and re-pair and restore the watch from a backup but the problem with this is that whatever software glitch you had could be reintroduced from the backup you made when the watch was faulty, therefore leaving you no further forward.

Every 15 minutes my Watch vibrates. How do I turn this off? Not good when I'd like to wear the watch continuously.
