It sounds like you are unable to add cards to wallet. We understand how important this is to you and we are here to help.
You were reviewing a very helpful article on adding cards. Are you selecting the Add to Wallet button within Apps, Websites and emails outside of the wallet app?
If so, and the issue persists can you provide a few more details? Which iOS version are you currently using? Which device do you currently have? Also, have you ever added a card to wallet before?
