In ios mail - my iCloud account says iCloud. Can I change the name from iCloud to something else?
I do not see this in mail account settings...

That’s because you have an iCloud mail account. You can add another email account from a different provider such as gmail, yahoo, AOL, etc., but your Apple email account will always be hosted as iCloud.com.
hi RevDave go to settings in your iPhone then iCloud settings select iCloud scroll all the way down you will see mail , get in there and look if I’m the iCloud account information the Name : says iCloud if yes then you can change it with your name
If your iCloud account is also your Apple ID it will use the “official” name of your Apple ID.

Thanks for the help. I did scroll to where you said call Ma and I probably would have not found that Area without your help, so thank you. The name was my real name rather than the word iCloud in this area.
Any ideas on this?

Thanks for your help. I do have a few other third-party email addresses. In these cases the name listed in Apple email is the account description Field which is editable. But I guess iCloud doesn’t offer that description field. Anyway this is no big deal I was just curious so thank you both so much for all your help.
