airpod wont stay connected only when both are in use

when i use my airpods together, my right one starts to disconnect every minute after about 15 minutes or so. i have to put it in my case and take it back out to fix it, but it messes up again soon after. the airpod that wont work properly shows that it’s perfectly charged despite it disconnecting so often. if i use them separately, both work perfectly fine— the problem only happens when i use them together, and only in my right ear. my left ear works fine. any fixes?
