Calendar can't verify identity of the server P31-caldav.icloud.com

I'm clearly not alone in receiving the message "Calendar can't verify identity of the server P31-caldav.icloud.com" which is perhaps something to do with having the Calendar application in my office linked to my iPhone via iCloud and from time to time accessing it from either route ? Does Apple have any advice on this please?

iMac 27″, macOS 10.15

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We understand that you're having an issue with your Calendar. We'd like to help.


Are you seeing this error on your iPhone, your iMac, or both? Do you see that every time you open Calendar? Have you checked to see if the date and time is correct on your iMac? Having it set incorrectly may cause an error like this: Set the date and time on your Mac


If that's already set correctly, test to see if that error happens in safe mode. In this mode, your iMac is tested for errors and stops login items from loading. How to use safe mode on your Mac


Let us know how that goes and we'll go from there.
