Pen tool disappeared in notes

When I try to drag my floating tool bar to the side, the pen tool just suddenly dissolved and disappeared, what can I do to get it back?

iPad Pro, iPadOS 15

Thank you for responding, I have tried quit the app and reopen, restart my iPad, and I’ve checked the app is updated to the newest version, but the pen tool is still not there. For the last method I’m not sure if I will lose my notes when I delete the app, so I didn’t try that.
