Reset Password
How do I get a reset password link sent to me? Won't work when I select reset password.

So it does seem that you have forgotten your password and are trying to reset it
Apple Support cannot send you a password reset link.
For this issue you need to attempt to reset the password on a trusted device first.
Settings > name > password and security > change password

If none of those options work for you, then I would attempt to do account recovery at iforgot.apple.com as stated in that resource above.
Please note that Apple cannot speed the account recovery process up.
