Alarm volume not changable using buttons when creating alarms.

When setting up an alarm in the clock app, I used to be able to select a tone, and change the volume using the buttons (My wife still can, same phone model and updated as well).

I was using the bedtime function, but cancelled that. I have done all things in settings that I can find to include: toggling the switch in Bedtime to use volume buttons, deleted and recreated alarms, restarted the phone, change facetime recognitions... All sorts of stuff.

The main crux is that I cannot change the volume using the buttons when creating my alarms. ( I like to have alarms at different volumes depending on urgency, and Betime volume slider doesnt allow me to select different volumes for different alarms.

We appreciate the additional information. Tap Setting > Sounds & Haptics to see if you have "Change with Buttons" turned on. If so, turn it off to see if that helps. Those steps and more can be found here: Adjust the volume on iPhone

While you're not able to adjust each individual alarm volume, you can set the overall volume and assign a different ringtone to each alarm. Thank you for your response, I used to be able to set the volume of at least the alarm that was actively being edited. When I would click the volume buttons on the side the verticals volume button graphic would appear, and the tone that was selected for the alarm would adjust volume. That doesn’t happen anymore, but my wife’s still does. That’s the frustrating part.
