Indoor swim tracking

I stopped swimming for a couple months returned and cannot find INDOOR SWIM tracker, OPEN WATER only.

Apple Watch Series 3, watchOS 8

Can I customize the free style or open water swim? I swim in the ocean, but not always free style. I want to track my swim distance in the ocean, but I don't use the same stroke the whole time. Free style, back stroke, catch a quick wave, etc. Each session is different.

To restore a deleted workout type:

tap on workout app
then scroll down to the bottom and tap on "Add Workout"
finally tap on a workout type in the list

and it will be added back to your workout list.

That option is not available to select any longer
