Battery Service recommended after I changed the battery

I changed my battery but the Battery Service recommended icon is still shown with the new battery. Please help.

If Apple or an AASP replaced the battery, then take it back to them to fix since you have a 90 day part warranty.


If this is a third party battery, then perhaps you received a defective battery or maybe macOS does not properly recognize the battery since it is a third party battery. When macOS communicates with the battery, if the battery does not provide the proper response, then macOS may mark the battery as bad.
