No service because of update error

If I’m getting no service because of cellular update error that I can’t fix, can I just put my sim in a new phone and my service will work there? Like is it just a problem with the phone itself.

If your device is eligible based on the model number, and currently running iOS 15.1, contact Apple Support to determine available service options.
