Kernel error - MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017, Two Thunderbolt 3 ports), intel core i5, 2 cores 2.3 GHz, 16 GB RAM,

Hello,

Iam having issues with my MacBook Pro, when it "falls" asleep I cannot start it again normally it needs hard restart to wake up. Most of the times I get this error after getting back to system. It also happened today when Mac was cold from car.. could not start it for about 30 minutes and when it warmed a bit it runs good... Second error.. Any idea what i can do with it?

Both Kernel Panic logs are referencing "nvme" which is the SSD. Most likely the SSD is failing, although there is a slim possibility that you have some third party driver installed which is interfering with macOS with the usual culprits being anti-virus software, cleaning apps, and third party security software.

You can check to see whether your laptop qualifies for this free Apple SSD repair program:

I've seen several of our organization's non-Touchbar MBPros have bad SSDs which did not qualify for the free repair program.

You definitely want to have frequent & regular backups since your SSD is most likely going to fail completely at any time.

You should also check to see if your laptop may qualify for the free Battery repair program:

FYI, here is the current list of the publicly acknowledged free repair programs for various Apple products (some products like your laptop may have multiple programs):

I have the same exact problem. It started when 12.1 was installing. It was during the auto-update one night that when I next used my laptop later in the day, it was just a black screen with with a crash support text. It rebooted serveral times on its own (I suppose to finish the installation of 12.1) and was working fine. That night I put the laptop to sleep via (Apple) -> Sleep (which I usually do maybe 50% of the time). The next day there was a message about a system crash with similar logs.
