Showing Reminders on Lock screen

Hello.

I can't see the notifications of the Reminders app on the Lock screen.

Currently my notification settings look like this:

The Reminders app look like this:

and none of them appear on my Lock Screen:

A colleague of mine here in the office told me, that in order for the reminders to appear on the Lock Screen, they must have a specific DATE and TIME. I have tried this - it still doesn't work.

Is there any work around? I used that app a lot back on my iPhone 6 and i would like to continue using it.

Thank you.

Hello ace1018,

Thank you for the tip about the Temporary/Persistent banner style setting! Although, it seems like this wasn't the answer I was looking for.

I found a semi-solution for my question.

Sadly, the thing with the Reminders app is that ONLY the upcoming "Scheduled" reminders can appear on the lock screen AND it seems like the user CAN'T change that.

The user can choose Reminders from which LISTS (Shopping / Work / Reminders / etc.) can show up on the lock-screen, but that doesn't solve the bigger question.

I totally get the thought process behind this: Its a reminders app, you're supposed to create a reminder, that's going to remind you about something AT A SPECIFIC TIME (before you go to work/store and etc.)

Currently, in order to show any "Scheduled" reminders on the lock screen and to actually leave them on the lock screen would be something like this:

    1. Go to the Reminders app
    2. Create a reminder and SET date AND time 1-2 min later, so the device can actually show that reminder on the lock screen.
    3. Do NOT swipe it (mark it as completed)

For example:

Now its 15:30, I'm creating a reminder "Get Milk" for 15:32 and then 2 minutes later i have a notification from the Reminders app and I am NOT swiping it, until i actually get milk.

Personal note:

I'm not speaking for everybody, but I think that's kind of complex, because it makes people DO additional stuff to simply show a notification on the lock-screen for a thing they shouldn't forget. It might take a longer time to actually set up a reminder about something, than ACTUALLY doing the thing from the reminder.

Ex.: It will take me more time to set up "Get a milk" reminder, than actually going to the store and buying milk.

- Its just a friendly feedback.

Hello AdlerAdemov,

We see that you need help with notifications for the Reminders app.

It looks like you have the notifications banner style set to Temporary. With Temporary selected, the notification will appear for a few seconds and then disappear when your iPhone is unlocked. If you change it to Persistent and schedule a reminder for a minute or two in the future, do you see the notification when your iPhone is unlocked?

"If you set a due date for a reminder but don't assign a time, the notification appears by default at 9:00 AM." Use Reminders on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Cheers!
